NCEP is currently experiencing delays with posting model data to it’s servers resulting in delays of around two hours. They are currently investigating the issue. Will update this message once the problems have been resolved. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused. As of 1500UTC NCEP are posting all model output on the 2 backup servers. These servers are slower than the operational servers, resulting in delays of up to 2 hours in model output. 2200UTC The NCEP back up servers are degraded with model output currently running in excess of 6 hours behind. Currently it is intended to abandon the output of the current model. We will continue to monitor the situation, and update forecast output as soon as it becomes available. NCEP currently anticipate this degraded situation to persist over the weekend.
