Server Upgrade Status – 7 April 0815

The Webserver hardware update is now completed. There remain issues with server configuration which are currently being addressed by technical support. I will update with further information as it becomes available.

Notice of Service Disruption 7 April 2017

On Friday 7th April 2017 the NorthSeaWeather Website Server will have a hardware upgrade. This work will require some downtime as follows.
On Thursday 6th April 2017 we will begin data syncronisation shortly after 2100UTC and the hardware will be swapped at some point early the following morning, between 0500UTC and 0800UTC.
The actual hardware replacement normally takes around 2 hours, during this time the website will be unavailable.
Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused.

Updates on progress during the outage will be posted on our facebook and wordpress pages.

21 July 2016 Connectivity issues

Both BT and Plusnet are experiencing connectivity issues meaning some NorthSeaWeather clients are unable to access their services with us. The issues though are directly with BT and Plusnet and all NorthSeaWeather services are operating as usual at this time, however updates may be delayed due to this issue. If you are with either provider and experiencing issues please check their service status pages here:

21 July 2015 1641BST – We have been advised that the Bunker Data Centre is currently experiencing a denial of service attack. During this time access to the website may be slow.

We will also be unable to update forecast data until the attack has ceased. This usually lasts 1-2 hours. Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience caused.
